Bath Areas (목욕탕)

Each of our bath areas includes:

  • Public showers*
    Whirlpool
    Hot tub**
    Jet pool
    Cold pool
    Dry sauna
    Steam sauna
Scrub area (private stalls for Korean body scrubs)

*Private showers are also available in the women’s locker rooms

** Mugwort herbal bath also available in the women’s bath area

Korean Bath House Etiquette:

Although visiting a bath house is a fantastic experience, there are some things first-time guests should know ahead of time to avoid unpleasant surprises.

  • For the privacy of our guests, phones and other mobile devices must be kept in lockers at all times.
All guests must shower before entering the baths.
Guests must be nude to enter the bath area. Much like Japanese onsen, and other Asian-style bath houses, Korean tradition is to bathe in the nude.*
As with most of the facility, this is a quiet zone, and we discourage loud conversations.
For the comfort of all guests, public displays of affection are strictly prohibited in any part
of the facility, including the bath area. There is a zero tolerance policy for any behavior
that may be deemed inappropriate.

How to use the bath area:

While there is no right or wrong way to enjoy the bath area, the traditional use involves alternating between hot and cold. After showering, it is recommended that guests go from the hot tub to the cold pool, starting with our hot tub or mugwort herbal bath which typically range from 103 to 109 degrees Fahrenheit..

For guests with a scheduled body scrub service, it is recommended that they soak in one of these tubs for at least 10 minutes prior to their service time. Soaking in hot water not only softens the skin to make the exfoliation process easier, but also maximizes the effectiveness of the cleansing treatment by opening your pores.
